For the record La Paglia is batshit insane. A friend of mine lived in her neighborhood in Philly for awhile, and would encounter her stalking around the local bookstores glaring at people and talking to herself.

Camille Paglia , die in a fire. I don’t feel bad for saying that because blaming a murder victim is cruel and vile. I hope that Ms. Paglia is one day subjected to the things that she finds to be just. She and Ann Coulter are truly disgusting human beings. Matthew Shepard’s family would be devastated to read that disgusting comment.

I think Nelly Furtado’s first album is a far more interesting topic. That album was great and that it became such a big seller is kind of heartening.

I’ve heard that she was basically ordered to work with Timberland after her second album flopped. It’s sad, because while her new stuff sells, the songs are of the type anyone could sing, whereas her older work seemed more uniquely hers.

Camille Paglia is a horrid nasty person. Victim blaming isn’t provactive or boundary pushing, it’s sick.

O_o I understand where this mindset comes from, but I still find it difficult to grasp. I find myself trying to wish it out of existence – not working so well so far.

She gets by with this stuff because she is gay herself. So, Salon feels like their asses are covered: You can’t accuse a lesbian of homophobia, nyah nyah.

Limbaugh uses Paglia in the same cynical fashion, and I believe even quoted at length (on the air) from the Shepard piece…He would say you can’t accuse HIM of homophobia, either. After all, he is quoting a lesbian.

It’s like, Camille’s weird ‘specialty’…
