I’m a little bit embarrassed by this, but I’ll defend myself by pointing out that it was written while I was in a passionate, dork-tastic state.
As always, thanks to my friends at GC.

What exactly is “pseudo-anarchist hysteria”?
Personally, I believe that U.S. (and other) businessmen should not only withdraw from the Middle-East, but should kill themselves en masse. So should marketing executives, consultants of all flavors etc etc. Useless bunch of fucking parasites that they are.
As for ‘I hate the U.S.’, that’s easy codespeak: it means that I oppose the ideology that this country has evolved for itself. It’s a soundbite, which unfortunately is also part of said, and hated, ideology. I agree with you: I don’t think that people should say it. I think that people should say what they mean, in detail, but I can’t blame them for this base hatred. Many people in this country would openly say ‘I hate Iran, Syria and North Korea’ without having the faintest notion of what that means.
The ability to ‘hate’ entire countries, cultures and religions is part of fundamentalist ideologies, be they Islamic, Christian, capitalist, atheist or otherwise.
