I’m not sure how that beer could have tasted like anything other than rancid donkey urine – and I don’t care. “Shambala” will be added to my funeral playlist, I can tell you that much.

The one where I call Jack “Charlie” based on his character name in Party of Five, that is to say, all of them.
Actually, I saw only the first season and the last 3 episodes of this last season, and the disorienting chaos of the pilot episode has yet to be beat for me.
One of the reasons why I like “Tricia Tanaka” so much is because it actually works, a little bit, on its own. Naturally, it’s not self-contained, but the sentiment expressed in it is just purrrfect – and it really is a story within a story, more so than the other ones are, IMHO.
The pilot is great. I may be the only one who thinks it’s got a bit of a David Lynch vibe, but I am unashamed.
