Rudy Giuliani and the Deathly Hallows. Also, Premiership as Medicine. Also, some link-love.

The famous Umar Lee just did some hatin’ on Rudy Giuliani for Global Comment.  I think it’s important for people, leftists in particular, to be familiar with Umar’s position on Giuliani, especially as he is coming from a more conservative, Muslim angle.

As for me, I’ve been busy overdosing on the Premier League – and the results are here.

In other news, via Punkassblog, we could all use an education on some of the most important things in life.

SmashingTelly! has uncovered the half-ton man.

Pandagon has got something interesting up on marriage equality in the news and, lo and behold, our friend Giuliani is mentioned.

Now, here is Why I Like Neil Gaiman –  he’s actually not afraid to have his feelings show in regards to the way “Stardust” (based on his novel, which I’ve read, which is wonderful, which was a present from an awesome person called Bethberry to whom I am in debt) is performing in theaters. And he actually says he likes Russia, which is a rare thing nowadays… Anyway, “Stardust” has not yet hit theaters in the UAE, but I plan on being at the front of the line when it does. And you should be too.

  1. You should start by noting that the first paragraph of the Lee article repeats the ‘Giuliani Time’ myth as if it were true and then goes downhill from there. Pure trash.

  2. Hi Natalia,

Premiership – you’ve been mentioning it – what is it? Perhaps I shouldn’t even ask, as I’m completely, and utterly bored by sports – crossing the street is as close as I’ll ever get to partaking in one. But, as you are so well-rounded, I like to know what makes you tick.
