  2. I thought it was OK. Yes, Quinto did play a very good Spock. I’m a bit of a conservative on some points. Like the Main Crisis of the show really does change the Federation in a very fundamental way. I thought that Chris Pine was a little *too* fratboyish to play Kirk, but the scene with the Orion college student was definitely funny.
